Ignorance!!it's when we're ignorant that we hate other people because of color,religion,nationality and so on!
we are afraid of the unknown,and so we hate the "difference!"
arrogance-is just hating anybody we think is "below"us!

Ignorance of course.
I always find myself calling humans ignorant.
We're mostly scared when we're facing something new that we've never had to deal with before.
And then we're all raised a certain way... So let's say someone is taught to dislike asians, that's exactly what he's going to do for the better part of his life.
Without ever knowing the truths about asians, he's going to dislike them, there you have foolishness and ignorance.
I don't know if you get my point but anyways, that's how I see it.
Humans are often both, but individuals aren't always to blame, education, where we grew up.. if all affects us very much.

Neither. The real answer is FEAR. Everything we do, as individuals and as society, is driven by this base feeling. Fear of control (or being controlled) and fear of not having enough control. Fear of others (violation, intrusion) and fear that others will not accept us. etc....etc.... The list goes on.
