passager side and his wife in back seat. Is this normal? Whats wrong with the picture?

hahaha thats so funny... im not sure if its normal or not but i used to always see this girl i went to school with getting dropped off in the morning and her dog would always be in the passenger seat and she was always in the back. my only reason for it would be that maybe they dont want the dog moving around alot and the passenger seat leaves the dog with less room then in the back.
i mean thats only a gues.. it doesnt really seem normal if ya ask me.

maybe the dog isnt used to confined spaces so maybe they keep him in front not to soil the back seats due to air. if tats not the reason then tats disrespectful
