About a character in a White Stripes video?

In the White Stripes video, "The Hardest Button to Button" there is a man in a white suit with a box that walks up to Jack White about half way through the video. Is this the same man that was in a lot of the stop motion vids for Sesame Street?

"There is a short cameo by Beck about two and a half minutes in."
