Yes. I remember an old joke about it being delivered to an Apache reservation. The chief complained, saying they didn't want any more of the John Wayne paper.

Oh yeah, Grandpa used to use it and moaned like mad when my sister and I used to use it as tracing paper, lol!
We used to get similar in school and it had to be scrunched up and re-flattened before it was even close to effective.
If you really fancy trying it out just for old times sake some of the bigger supermarket chains still stock it-but would you believe it's really expensive compared to loo roll that works?!

yep I remember having to use in back when I was in junior school. It didn't dry or wipe. who on earth thought that non absorbent toilet paper would be a good idea?

I believe it is specially made specifically for public toilets these days. Hateful stuff.

Yeah and if us ladies use it to dry ourselves it just makes us feel more wet. Still used in public toilets.
