In general no, if you could get your record expunged, it would not go away,

A pardon is technically the only way to get it to vanish so to speak

There are large data collection companies that collect public data and sell it to employers/landlords, they have no legal duty to change your information if you have it expunged

It depends in Texas and I only have a rough understanding. Once the total sentence time has been served you can get a pardon. An example would be committing a felony at age 19 being convicted at 20 and serving 5 years probation because it's your first offense. If you stay out of trouble and your 26 maybe see about applying for a pardon.

Get a criminal pardon from your state's Governor. Clinton was very liberal with those.
