YOur Bata shoes come from this place, it's in the district ofsouth 24 parganas, by the side of river Hoogly. YOu can commute from Kolkata by travelling for an hour.

The first answer is a bit wrong. Batanagar manufactures Bata shoes but the root of Bata is not from there. How can it be???
Bata was introduced by Canada.
