Despite Bush being an embaressment to this great nation, I try to be a good citizen and listen to his diatribes, because he is our President. But as soon as he starts a speech he incorporates "hard work" and it just makes my stomach lurch. Why is that?

Doesn't it just make you proud? That's having real familiy values, isn't it? Works three jobs and so cannot be home to raise the children properly. The advanced countries make sure that the parents have paid time off to spend with their newborn through the first year, and subsidize day care, and ensure that ALL full-time jobs pay a living wage, one that is head and shoulders above the US 'poverty line.' Everyone even gets a pension! But this wealthy and productive country just cannot seem to manage it. Meanwhile, billions disappear into Iraq, our industry is gone, and our country goes further and further into debt with a dollar losing value by the day. Maybe the US needs to get another job. Maybe then it would be too busy to make trouble around the neighborhood.

Oh really, have you ever flown an F-102 jet fighter? That is hard work and very dangerous. Of course if you can prove to me that Kerry, Obama or Hillery every held honest jobs, nope not even one.

Yes, I find that as amusing as John "Pardon me do you have any Grey Poupon because all we have in the mansion is this Heinz crap" Kerry saying similar things or John "$400 haircut" Edwards feeling the pain of his poor brethren.

because you are a left wing nutbar and the words "hard work " make you sick. that's why they invented unions, for people just like you. President Bush has an MBA from Harvard. oh yes, he knows about hard work. I wish more liberals would try it.

If you think running this country isn't hard work, you are insane.
I sure as hell couldn't do it and neither could you.

He can't use that statement because being stupid isn't hard work for him either. He comes by it naturally.
