what's your funniest/greatest/wieredsst memory of a time you went to the county fair?

the funniest/oddest one for me was when i was 16 the carny working the tilt a whirl kept winkin at me an blowing me kisses....
funnest was when i was 19 my bf won me a poster doin darts

and the best of them all was this year..my daughter(she's on 1) played the duck game all by herself...even though she wanted to go swimming...lol..she won prizes it was cute....how about y'all?

i remember when younger playing games, and having fun with all my friends, the funniest was once when my cousin won a small stuffed animal for his gf, then grabbed it and started screaming and put the animal on his neck like it was attacking him,,, i damn near peed my pants.....an entire crowd of people stood there in shock and then started laughing too..

the best was when i took my twins on the Ferris wheel for the first time, it was night time, clear and the stars were out and is was beautiful....i love when i get to share the first experience with them

I used to be in the military. Firing weapons was something I used to do very well. My girlfriend at the time and I were out at the fair and we went up to one of those air rifle games. I fired all five shots and was no where near the target. My girlfriend and the guy behind the counter laughed at me. I paid to have another try, pulled out a quarter and adjusted the iron sights on the rifle. Put the next five rounds dead center and won my girlfriend the big purple dinosaur.

My greatest memory is when I fell in love with my wife to be at the fair. We were racing around playing a game we made up. The game was "How many carny's does it take to make a full set of teeth." Turns out it was 32.

I don't have a story to tell, but I know when I was a kid the Freak shows scared me allot. I have been to countless county faris and the Texas State Fair many times. My best memories of the state fair is the FOOD! Fletcher's corny dogs RULE. Only 1 more week and the fair opens! I can't wait.

The funniest would have to be when me nephew starting crying and pitching a fit. at the games.

I look at the carny and said

"Another satisfied customer"

I got a few laughs from the crowd.

But i person called me a name a cant repeat.

i finished going years in the past. It merely looks like the comparable previous ingredient each 12 months. Plus I continuously hated the grease from the fryers and each and all of the dirt. I went abode each 12 months finding like a huge breaded drumstick :)

my bff and i lost her car keys and had to spend the night in a hotel (it was the south carolina one and we live in nc) so the next morning we come out of our room and the room next to us a guy was coming out with a nasty looking black hooker and turned out he owned a strip club and wanted us to come work for him, so 2 wks later we started work! i was 18 yrs old and had just moved here from Florida, i only did it a few months cause i met my 1st husband and got pregnant with my 1st son and i quit but my friend stayed a stripper for about 8 yrs! crazy huh?

well one time, we went to the county fair and parked our new car. we enjoyed the time there and when it was time to leave we discovered we forgot to get our row number! so, we literally had to wait for everyone to leave b4 we could go home. we had like all the staff trying to find our car. extremely embarrassing. =X
