This morning i woke up and felt like i had an eyelash in my eye. I looked all around but didnt find one. Every time I blink, it feels like its poking me in a different place in my eye. There is no eyelash! I even tried flushing whatever is in there out. What's wrong with my eye and is it something i should see a doctor about? (its still like this, an hour later)

Well first off do you wear contacts? If so obviously take them out for a while. Secondly is your eye red? I would continue to flush it over the next hour, and if it does not improve after that you should probably go see a doctor, as you may have pink eye. Feel better soon!

It could be an allergy. I get that sensation when my eyes become irritated. The sensation can also be an infection or pink eye (conjunctivitis) -- which is highly contagious. I'd go to an eye doctor (ophthalmologist preferred over optometrist or optician, but any are OK) to be sure. Eyesight is something I don't play around with. I think you've taken all the steps you can take to get relief on your own. Hope you feel better soon!

Maybe you have a stye in your eye? A small bump/infection under the eyelid? I had one of those when I was a kid and I could hardly see out of the eye for a few days. This sucked because we were on vacation at the time.

you have pink eye...it feels like sand is in your eye and no way to get it out...using drops will ease it for a little bit, but it comes right back...a dr can prescribe stronger drops than you can get over the counter, but as long as you use over the counter drops regularly throughout the day, you should be fine...be careful though...don't rub your eyes ever...they are very sensitive and you only have one chance to use them the right way...

Lots of things you get in your eye ,
You can't actually see .
I had to have the doctor remove a small metal chip that I could not see .

Or , it could be conjunctivitis (pink eye) . . .
Never hurts to stop at the eye clinic .
