The answer is "NO".
Don't worry, love is forewer, even if we move on.
Try to look at it this way: you got past the attachment phase in your relationship.

How could one "forget" someone they were married to for 27 years? Obviously he was'nt really her dream boy if it ended in divorce. The question should be could she get over that relationship and move on? The answer is yes, she could. It may not be easy, but her next relationship could be even better BECAUSE of her previous marriage (one learns a lot from their experiences).

Do you forget your first born child after they move away to college? Do you forget your first pet hamster or your first dog after it dies?
Relationships change and some end - but that doesn't mean the past is suddenly erased.
The ex-wife would be very smart to focus her time and energy on the present and the future, rather than the past.

I'd look at it this way: must not be much of a dreamboy if he is now the ex. Although 27 years is a long time with some one. Lots of joys and sorrows were felt during that period that made them bond. Once someone lets go of someone after that long of a period, the love is definitely lost.
