y = mx + c is the equation

1 = 3 x - 4 + c

1 = -12 + c

c = 13

So, y = 3x + 13 is the equation

y-1= 3x +12
then y = 3x +13 or 3x -y +13 =0

substitue in everything you know and calculate...

1 = 3*-4 + c

Thus c = 1-(-12)
c=13

So... y=3x+13
