Since they ended the series season in a tie, how would they decide who gets home field advantage and gets to make the decision about the schedule for the first round? Toin coss?

There's more than one tiebreaker; MLB maintains a list. Head to head record is the first one; the second is intradivision record.

Currently the Indians are 46-23 (.667) against the AL Central, while the Angels are 29-19 (.604) against the West. They're not done yet, but the Indians are holding advantage.

It will go by record against their own division, which the Angels will lose. But, it's a moot point, because LA will have the best record.

They can't go by the regular season record because they were 5-5 against each other.
