I was in Chemistry class taking a test and this girl that I always flirt with asked me for my answers and I gave them to her. Now I think the teacher might find out. My question is, if he asks me about it, should I blame her and pretend I knew nothing about it or should I take the blame too?

I was going to tell the teacher that she cheated off me while I was doing my problems and didn't even know she was!

Blaming only her is almost as bad as having done it in the first place. Besides, if you deny it, but your answers are identical, the proof will say otherwise. I think the best course of action is to be honest and admit to "helping" her and hope that the repercussions will only affect this one test. You can try to plead the "Faternity Defense" and say "Well, yeah, but you've seen me flirt with her before. Hey, if a right answer is going to get me in her pants ..." but this OFTEN does not work. And next time, try seating yourself further away from her or confess to not having studied the way you should have.

You should fess up now. You need to be honest about what you did and face the consequences of your actions. You didn't say if you were in college or not, but if you are, you could face serious consequences, but you should since you did something wrong.

And btw, the girl used you. If she really liked you, she wouldn't have put you in the situation where you could get into trouble. She would've sucked it up that she was unprepared and let you get all the credit you deserve vs. copying you. Neither of you sound very grown-up, and you both made your choices. Now you must live with the consequences. Hopefully you have an understanding teacher who will go lightly on you both.

It was your decision. You can come forward, explain why you did it, and accept the consequences. You can wait until you're confronted, try to explain, and accept the consequences. You can deny everything, blame her, and accept the consequences. Personally, I would talk to the young lady, explain that I felt the need to confess, explain that I was enamored with her which was why I gave her the answers originally, but now my sense of ethics compels me to come forth. If she's a lady of quality, she will agree to go with you. If not, you go alone, but knowing you got off lucky. If it wasn't a test, the professor may be understanding, and little harm done. Good luck, it sounds like you learned a lesson in biochemistry also.
