lol - yeah, that one's too easy these days. I had a flat tire on the way HOME from work Monday or Tuesday - now, if I had called in & told my boss I had a flat, he still wouldn't have believed me!!!
I used to hang upside down off the edge of the bed for about 15 mins before I would call in - your head gets all stopped up, your throat gets thick sounding - then you call & you sound more believably "sick"!!! lmao

I rarely if ever call in sick and when I do I don't give any details - it's none of their business. I just say I'm sick. BTW, I've gone to work with diarrhea before - I guess I'm just tough that way! Either that or I need my paycheck bad!!

I call when I'm in the toilet along with noises. I always give a description as well, such as 'its like rusty water boss' or there's no point wiping, i'll only be back here in a minute and its like fizzy gravy coming out.'

Make sure you go into detail when back at work too.

I know. And don't you always get the urge to put on a silly "poorly" voice, just to prove you're really ill :-)

let them laugh. When hubby gets nervous, he gets the runs. Then he tells his boss, and i always say, " go to work, and poop yourself. They'll send you home soon enough!"
