(this is how they do it on some of the other sites!)

Which amongst us has ever entertained the thought of a little nip and tuck here and there?

How serious would you be about it?

Is it all about self confidence or a confidence trick on others to roll back the years?

Has anyone actually had a 'proceedure'?

I know we here in the UK are a far way behind our sisters in the USA - but I don't actually know anyone who has had 'work done' - unless it is damn fine work!

The only nip and tuck that I would consider would be on
Mr. Eyedontnose - but give me time!

I fantasize once in a great while about starting at my ankles and just shifting everything up and mold it like clay but what on earth would they do with the surplus when we reach my neck. I'd then have to do like those tribes where the women take rings and place them around there neck and keep adding rings and the neck becomes so long you must always have the rings to hold your neck and head up right. Whew--too much for me. I'll just continue to age and it ain't half bad when I think of the alternatives.

I know a woman in her early 70's that had a 25k face lift, she still has her nasty opinions on most things, wears the same ugly wigs and has a new face on an old body. I had a friend years ago that had a tummy tuck, she walked around bent over for months and then ended up with a giant scar across her tum. Not worth the cash, and if you are in the Hollywood area you are talking way more money and one leads to another, tuck this suction that. A good example is poor Patrick Swayzee he looks horrid now with little squinty eyes and not even remotely like he used to look. Mary Tyler Moore looked awful for years. I would not do it. I earned what I have---it ain't much but it's mine mine mine.

Same here babe. I don't know anyone who has had a nip and tuck over here in Aussie. I know plenty that have had a nip and drink tho.
Just going by what I see on telly a 'procedure' seems to be a way of life in the US. Mind you a little less fat or redistribution thereof wouldn't go astray but there is NO way I'm going under the knife unless its a serious situation that needs fixing.
Anyway the chooks wouldn't recognise me and I would have mayhem in the chook pen. LOL

I think that beauty is deeper than we all can see. You should be happy with yourself with changing anything. But if you want to do something you should think about what's its going to look like when you get older. Are you going to stop there. All of that stuff isn't good for you stuff goes wrong all the time with that stuff. You get sick and have to recover for months at a time. Wear bandages and stay coup up somewhere. That's not good or healthy. I know two people how had tummy tucks or lipo. One died and the other one stayed in the hospital for 3 months. Couldn't keep nothing down and just hurting all the time. Be safe and make sure this is what you want.

I had my eyes done about 7 years ago, would I have some more "work" done, oh you betcha - whatever I could afford except a boob job, dont need one of those, dont want one of those, nothing is really heading south, its an oddity that runs in my family - the women have "immature" breasts" - they dont hit the final stage of breast development. Its totally weird.

Drs are always asking me if I have had them "done" - and because of my accident and the fact that my muscles are ALWAYS in spasm my neck hasnt loosened or aged either.

so yah a little tummy tuck, a jaw tighening, a brow lift, a face resurfacing to tighten and brighten, get my hands lazered (sp?) again, to get rid of two brown spots - and I'd be good to go ------

Contemplated but never will:

Gain 100 pounds so I could have liposuction and loose 130 pounds!
Eye lid nip and tuck (I might do this someday, but I doubt it)
Breast firming
Butt reduction
Hair implants (on my head)
Skin tightening

I have never had the desire to make changes in my body. I think we are all different for a reason and I accept to be who I am. I have seen such horror stories on tv on what went wrong with a procedure and the pain and suffering that those people have endured. Unless you were in an accident and your face gone and you needed surgery in order to function then to me that is different than a job just because you wanted it.

If I could afford it I'd get a face lift & get rid of these so called laugh lines (most likely to start new ones).
This would not be done to impress or attract anyone, but to stop having to replace mirrors.
Does Dame Julie Andrews live anywhere near you? Love to meet that gal.

There are times I wish I could afford to go have all the fat sucked out of me. Then I realize I can get rid of it myself if I just try harder. I look how I look because God made me this way, so be it. Even the guy at the driver's license bureau said "If you want a better picture, get a better face". Fortunately for him, he said it to someone in front of me.
