I hear the arguement made by people that same-sex molestation turns people gay, but what about opposite molesation on young gay people?

As a Psychologist, I don't believe that there is any evidence of this being factual.
It's probably better to ignore other people's ignorance, rather than counter it with made-up 'evidence'. Often, other people's ignorance isn't bliss for the rest of us. Then again, neither are arguments where you're not that likely to move someone from their fixated opinions.

No. I've known many gay people who were molested and it didn't change their orientation. Most molestations are committed by men and child molestation is a crime of opportunity more than desire, in that men are indiscriminate to gender in their molestation.
Lesbians molested as children by men still become lesbians. Gay men molested by men still become gay. Straight women molested by men still become straight, and straight men molested by men still become straight. Look at the recent spate of priest molestations: most of the charges were brought by straight men who were molested by men as children.

you know most of these people are gay anyway or have a fear of the gender that molested them.
i know a lesbian who uses her child abuse to manipulate others and 'excuse' her gayness. funny because i don't think a genuinely abused person would scream out that they were abused as a child in a hurry
