Yes, he is a good manager.

His biggest problem is manipulating his bullpen, goes to Mota too much, and I think its taken the heart out of the team.

I love Willie but as I put it, he is to nice. He treats it like the little league every body gets a turn, regardless, as to not hurt any feelings. He also says when it happens it happens, what is that?!!! Drive as a manager and team leader D, personality in general A+

PS
They blow it this year, I could almost guarantee there will be no Willie next season.

For me I think Randolph is making alot of mistake of the way he is managing the team. He needs to learn how to be more aggressive, change players when they need to be changed, not hoping for the best. And another thing is a few of the good players are injured Hernandez, Easley, Valentin, Delgado. I just think the manager needs to motivated the team. And let them know the the mistakes that they are doing so that the Mets players can correct it in time.

No, he's not. The Mets have no team chemistry and the players look defeated every day. It's the job of a manager to get these guys ready and in the right frame of mind.

Excellent baseball skills as a manager and good with the players. I would say he is the right guy for the Mets.

Absolutely. Its not Willie's fault that his TEAM is playing like crap. Just a month ago he was the best thing since sliced bread. He'll right the ship and win his division.

Yes. Managers aren't usually the problem. Players must hit, field, and be consistent to win. Some managers do make really dumb choices and teams lose. Most often though it is the players who make the wins and losses happen.

This manager has lost control of his team , It is also his job to blend these guys , and keep there heads in the game . It's not all his fault , but his coaches need to be held accountable also . We'll see how far they go , and see if they can right the ship ....

Sure he is. He took them to the post season last year, has them in first this year, has lead the division practically the whole year, and even if it's closer now than it was, look at all the other divisions in baseball. Only 2 are runaways. He's patient and a leader. There is no angst in the clubhouse. He's good!
