their faith in guns will "save" them from having to go to their "Heaven" for a long time. A contradiction? "I have faith that such a place exists, but I will shoot anybody that tries to send me there by shooting me. I will shoot him first. Better he go to Heaven (or Hell) than me. And of course it is always the other person who will go to Hell for killing a fellow being. This dreamer will go to Heaven for his killing, because he reasons that if he didn't shoot the other guy, the other guy might have shot him. One killer goes to Heaven and the other killer goes to Hell. It takes a lot of faith to believe that convoluted nonsense, doesn't it?
When he meets God at the pearly gates, he will say "God, you have to let me into Heaven, because the United States Constitution guarantees me the right to own a gun, and not even God can buck the United States Constitution." And God will reply "You're right. I have been outruled by your Constition. You have beaten me with your faith!

I don't know why you're grouping Christians with gun owners. I do not believe in owning a gun and will not say that owning one will get me into heaven either. I personally cannot say if I will get into heaven and anyone who does is a bit conceded. I think of myself as a christian, but I know I'm not perfect and make mistakes. I see no connection between guns and God. I don't think God would approve of our casual use of firearms all the time.

Um... Okay. Just because I believe heaven to be this wonderful place, doesn't mean I'm particularly in a hurry to get there. I believe life to be wonderful to. And we need people down here too.

PS- Is there a reason why you post the same... well I can't call them questions... they're more like... ranting. Anyway, is there a reason you post these things more than once.

I have seen some really lame anti-christian rants here, but you have absconded with the cake with this one. The main convoluted logic is in your rant itself. It is perfectly logical for one to beleive in heaven, but with to protect oneself and one's family and loved ones from violence. A person who has killed to defend an innocent from a violent person is not a murderer. It is murder that is condemned in the Christian faith, not all killing. In a fallen creation, it is recognized by our faith that sometimes a dangerous individual needs to be stopped. That often involves killing them.
Your frothing anti Christian bigotry has made you look foolish here, try to do some REAL thinking before you post again.

Trying to follow your logic is like trying to watch someone play pinball in 4 dimensions. After awhile, my eyes are vibrating side to side, back and forth, and my brain is buzzing.

Your opening statement derides gun owners and christians, then you claim to be both. From there it goes downhill. I'm tempted to say "whatever", but the thought of you owning a gun makes me hope that you live several states away from me.
