No law. There are often clustered together to share infrastructure. Is this a new tack for the NIMBYs? "Not in *my* back yard - at least, not too many" :-)

I don't think there is such a law, at least in the United States. Given that nuclear power plants are power plants, and power plants are created to supply power to a large region, they inherently would never be built close to each other. So I think there is no point in such a law because it is an unrealistic situation.

Well, about 20 miles ESE of where I am currently sitting is Davis Bessie Nuclear Power Plant. About 25 miles N of my location are the twin Fermie Nuclear Reactors. (And those are only yards from each other.)

I didn't know there was such a law. We don't have nuclear power plants in Ireland

There is no such law...

and btw it makes absolutely no sense to even think of implementing such a law...
