What would it take to get you to vote for a democrat in the next election...?
OTHER than a lobotomy and the resultant loss of 60 i.q. points?
Then you should more than qualify.

I can't imagine what it would take. I see no reason to vote for a Democrat for dog catcher at this point. There are people on this forum who think it would be wrong to vote Republican simply because they don't like the Republican who holds the office now, but that would definitely be the wrong reason to vote Democrat in the next election.

They'd have to be more like the Democrats of Woodrow Wilson, FDR, HST and JFK, than the Democrats of George McGovern, Howard Dean, John Kerry, Jimmy Carter, and EMK.

Short of detaining me from going to the polls by force and letting an illeagal go in and cast a vote using my name and address, nothing would get me to vote Democrat this time around. in 2012, I'll have to see who they put up for candidates but with the choises being Barrack or worse, Hillary, I will vote for someone else

Well I'll pass on the lobotomy, I vote for the better person any how. I do know if the candidate is supported by Moveon however I will NOT vote for that candidate.

Based on the current crop, nothing.
If Joe Lieberman was running, I might vote for a democrat!

a frontal lobotomy-gun to the head-very large stack of cash
i do not mean any one of these, i mean all three. although know how the democrats run the polling places we all probable will cast a couple of democratic votes, and that is even if you don't show up at the polls.

I agree with makrothumeo2. I not only look at who the person is, I look at who & what they have the power to appoint. That's what determined who I voted for in the last election, for sure. It was all about the Supreme Court.

Lets just be honest today and admit that both political parties are different sides of the same coin.
