What is the application of computer systems and techniques to gather legal evidence?
My answer was money. I knew that wasn't the right answer. Can anyone tell me the correct one, please?

Which of the following stores instructions and data used most often by the CPU?
RAM
BIOS
cache
ROM
My answer was RAM, but the computer marked me wrong. so is it ROM? I think it's not. Maybe cache. Help, please.

Laptops usually do not contain the latest (blank)?
My 1st answer was technology, 2nd is hardware. They're both wrong. What else?

I got 27/34 the 2nd time I did it. Wasn't bad but I want a 34/34. Wellcome all attempts. Sorry for the crapy English. It's hard for me to type all these because I'm from China and it's difficult for me to use another language.

Thanks for taking the trouble to ask your questions in English, your second language.

The test you are taking is obviously in English, because there are some semantics involved.

I believe the answer to the first question is forensics.

The second is cache. There are memory caches and disk caches. Both optimize access to frequently touched data.

I believe the third is graphics device. The graphics interface on laptops is built-in, and cannot be easily upgraded, like a desktop.

I can tell you what I know-RAM-is temporary memory. Cache is a tempory storage place-I empty that when my temp internet files are slowing my machine. ROM to me used to mean hard drive (and my guess) so now I assume CD-ROM is a cd hard drive-sorta. BIOS is something I know not to mess with cause it will screw up everything.
When I bought my last laptop, it was loaded with everything my loaded with everything but the stuff you need to access the large video games but I didn't care. It also didn't have a separate keypad for numbers but I could have bought that. So I really can't help you with the first and last.
This was actually meant to be amusing-in lay terms.

It sounds like you're asking us to do your homework for you. That is not acceptable. Talk to your instructor and find out why you are unable to do your homework by yourself.
