I live in Plain Dealing, LA which is north of Shreveport, and mane mane mane, I get tired of people asking me if I was affected by Katrina. First off, that's not the only thing Louisianians have in common. Second, if I was affected, I wouldn't want to relive it. Your throughts please...

Yes I do. I also live in North Louisiana and people need to know that Louisiana is two states. LOL We have North Louisiana & South Louisiana. Do you know what I mean? The people are totally different. HA HA

People get a kick out of that after I explain it.

And yes, yes, yes I am tired of it!!!!

Yes I live in Thibodaux. I was not affected by the hurricane other than loss of power for a couple of days. I got a message from another user in Switzerland about something or other and we exchanged a few e-mails. When I told him I lived not far from New Orleans he asked "is that still underwater". I suppose with all that went on the flood was the story but the recovery from it never made it on to the news in Switzerland.

yes, i live in Shreveport and every single time someone asks where I'm from and i say Louisiana, the first thing they say is,"omg I'm so sorry about hurricane Katrina". and I'm like" thanks but it didn't really affect me" and they will be like "really?"
