2/ US - dollars, UK - pounds
3/ UK weather is similar to the New England area of the US. The US is so large it has just about all weather climes.
4/ US - burgers, UK - Yorkshire pudding
5/ US - Thanksgiving, UK - Guy Fawkes Night
6/ The 1812 War between the US and UK!
7/ US - right wing, UK - left wing (supposedly)
8/ US - Empire States Building, UK - Big Ben
9/ US - Baseball, UK - cricket
10/ US - Tom Cruise/Justin Timberlake, UK - Brian Blessed/Clif Richard

1)geographical location - Both northern hemisphere U.K. is very close to Europe

2)currency - In the US it's the Dollar in the UK it's the pound sterling

3)Weather - Maybe weather is more consistent in U.K. because it's a smaller land mass. The US takes up a lot of a continent

4)famous food - hamburgers and hot dogs in US and what steak and kidney pes in UK

5)celebrations - Victory in Europe WWII

6)wars - WWI & WWII

7)policy - If it's Foriegn policy we are allies

8)famous sight - UK Picadilly Circus US Times Square

9)famous sports UK - Rugby , US American Football

10)famous actors singers (of these days not old days) Both Cultures - Rolling Stones, Beatles, Spice Girls, Tom Jones

In UK you go to school to prep for College and get a degree in 3 years no partying all the time and spending a career in college.

They're seperated by the ocean
We use dollars, they use pounds
Weather is about the same
We say Fish and French Fries, they say fish and chips
USA was born from England in 1776 with the signing of the delecration of indepence...WWII happened in their back-yard for most of the war, we were only attacked that day 12-7
Can'thelp on the policies
Big Ben, Tower of London, Palace etc..
Empire staste building, golen gate bridge etc
Football here, soccer there

weather in england is more consistant -- weather in the united states ranges from subtropical to medeterranean to subarctic to arid.

bangers and mash, bubble and squeek, blancmange, united states has hot dogs, sweet tea -- not a lot really.

uk has guy fawkes night -- us has independence day

uk has better social services policy. united states has a much worse education system, health care system (we don't even have one for poor), welfare is only for poor pregnant women.

us has britney spears and paris hilton uk has amy winehouse and lady sovereign

ok sport's obviously football it's our national obsession which unfortunately has been taken away from the fan's and pimped to big business'please if your'e american don't say we've already got soccer it's like comparing american football to rugby. famous english actors helen mirren,judi dench,john thaw.
