can you smell if a man has had sex when he uses the bathroom is there an odor. I caught my husband washing after sex which he usually has not done before and he claimed he did not want anyone else to smell him

Of course. The secreations from the female and male gentials do get in to the pores of both. All there has to be is sweat down there and if there's been no cleansing after the act, hell yes there will be a real smell.
If you children have ever walked into your bed room after sex and ask, "what's that smell" then you know what I mean. Any sexually experienced adult will agree with me.

ohhh yea if the person he had sex with has a bacterial infection or any infection period you would definitely smell something. But not when he uses the bathroom just if you was to just bend down and take a whiff. Its always good for a man to wash afterwards, but if he never has before then I would question his sudden change in behavior.

I think there is an odor...My husband always washes himself after wards because vaginal fluids/sperm carry an odor and after awhile it does smell kinda rank.

Yeah you can smell it but it's not like really strong. Maybe he has a certain someone that he doesnt want to know

There is an odor produced from his ejaculate, as well as an odor from your ejaculate. Mixed together it can be rather smelly after a while.
BTW--What do you have against good hygiene?

a man's hormones give off a scent through his body, his skin, when he has sex or even if he's horny... yes, there is also a smell of his semen when that comes out, too... same for women... =)
