If I wanted to take up auto restoration as a hobby where would you suggest I start, and what websites would you recommend I check out?

My cousin does auto restoration, his hobby is doing smaller projects, such as experimenting with airbrushing techniques, he has used mailboxes, toolboxes etc. He thoroughly enjoys it and wants to open a shop sometime in the next few years.

There is a great magazine for people like you, it is "AUTO RESTORER" ,its not sold on new stands but they have a site on the web. Its a news letter that comes out every month and is full of helpful stuff for beginners and experts. I've been getting it for many years and can't wait for my copy every month.

I'd suggest getting a good income generating if you want to do this as a hobby! I always wanted to, but I've never been able to afford it! If you can, best of luck, and I'm jealous!
