Sadly, 3 corporations own almost all the media, and even NPR and Public TV is run by Republicans now. The media, our 4th branch a government that must remain unbiased, has become biased toward corporatism. And there are Republican and Democratic corporatists, so don't tell me I'mjust against Republicans. Clinton was as much a corporatist as Bush is.

The world would have less problems if
the pertinent liars would not overstress

If you speak the truth, like Ron Paul does, you are excoriated by liberals and conservatives alike.
Both sides are invested in big government socialism, their big conflict is how to use big government to further their agenda. The conservative side wants corporate subsidies, cheap labor, low taxes on the rich and place the burden on the middle class. Liberals are totally insane, so the best choice is conservative.
But a heretic like Ron Paul who wants to limit government is painted as crazy by both sides of the government worshipping cultists.
