Well , prior to my question being so expeditiously and falsely reported and deleted I had posted a link that details what Planned Parenthood really does . Undercover personnel secretly posed as 13 and 14 yr. old girls and called PP to ask for advice . One 'girl' was told to not talk to her parents or teachers about being pregnant and they would take care of the abortion . Another 'girl' was told that she should deny knowledge of who the father is because she had told them he was an adult . They told her to keep quiet so that the 'boy' didn't go to jail for statutory rape .
And the fact that the left deleted my question is sickening . They can believe abortion is ok all they want , but to squelch the truth about what Planned Parenthood really does with minors is dangerous .
The link also showed a woman who formerly was involved in over 35,000 abortions . She said her clinic's goal was for every 13 -18 yr. old girl to have 3-5 abortions . She went on to explain that marketing research indicated that by then they could likely count on having a lifetime 'customer' . Her name is Carol Everett and she quit her job at the abortion clinic and became a pro-life advocate by founding " The Heidi Group ".

Well if you are 14, and get pregnant by a 22 year old, Planned Parenthood will tell you to lie, to keep the crime of statutory rape covered up.
Their policy regarding abortion: " The more the merrier".

This is where being informed comes in handy: tax dollars do not, never, no exceptions go to abortion for Planned Parenthood. Your tax dollars go to things like helping poor women get HIV/AIDS screenings or mammograms and health care should she choose not to abort the baby and not be able to afford regular health care. All Planned Parenthood abortions are funded privately. @D Kdkd: they do have to pay for the abortion. A $350 minimum (it can go to nearly 500) fee. And I have to agree wholeheartedly with Boris Badenov and commend Geez Guys for his wit.

Coach them to what to say in order for them not to report the abortion.
A minor needs parents permission to get her ears pierced yet some as serious as an abortion they believe a 14 year old knows enough to have that surgical procedure preformed on her.
If PP doesn't report the rape or molesation than turns a minor back over to them.
They are just as guilty of rape and abusing children.

Fox news is so biased it disgusts me.
Anyway. Parents should always be informed of what happens to their children, confidentiality laws "protecting" minor children from their parents knowledge of their careless acts are senseless. It takes the power away from the american family and puts it in the hands of business.
Talk about an "industry" that should not be privatized.
Is planned parenthood wrong for trying to protect the 22 year old boyfriend in the case of a 14 year old girl? Surely if the girl did not consent they would not say that. I see no problem with trying to hide that knowledge from zealot like public prosecutors, but the knowledge should be made available to the parents.

It depends on the laws of the state in which they are operating. Planned Parenthood is supposed to follow any federal and/or state laws concerning abortion services.

Nubilin is misinformed. It is not the governments job to give sex ed. That is the Parents job. PP policy any abortion is a good abortion.

If the government did a better job at providing a good sex education curriculum, places like planned parenthood wouldn't have to exist.
They're a necessary evil at this point in time. Besides, If I were a minor and got pregnant, I'd feel comforted by many of the comments they made to fox news ie. I'd rather have killed myself than had to tell my parents about it.

Abort the baby and give too little psychological help to the teen.
Many kids suffer for the rest of their lives after having aborted the baby

Call them and ask. Its all confidential and they are very nice people, I know this because I had a friend who had to do this although she was an adult. But just the same I'm sure they will tell you everything you need to know. Try them on the internet, see what it say's there. I know its on the web to because we looked it up aswell
