I don't know about my country being listed but never-the-less I am from South Africa and just love talking to any other person outside my country.
We (South Africans) are made up of a lot of different countries and have 11 official languages of which I am only able to speak 2, Afrikaans (which is my first language and English which is my 2nd language.
Is it possible that I could be picking up a wee bit of supremacy here because you are from the USA? If I am not, then I wish to apologies.
Be it as it may I still enjoy talking to various people with different believes.
Take Care

Well am sorry my country is not listed below. But even if it was I will choose to do it where i feel much comfortable and like. I asked to know whether the site was open and I got well coming answers from all over so I think every one is at liberty to use the site. To be open as I always like your question is so racist and piecing off.

French one is very fussy - full of trolls - undermined by propagandists of all kinds ( religion, politics, and still worse )-
very untolerant -
US one is tolerant - real freedom of speech - no insults ( I mean more unusual ) - it is a quiet site with correct people -
On the negative side, find Us questions most of the times very
short-limited - there are few questions about culture, art, history - but nobody is perfect - and it's all right with me :o)))

I am an American and Retired Air Force. I see nothing wrong with having civilized dialogue with Chinese, East Indians or anyone else who wants to answer or ask questions here. Why make a fuss about it?

I agree with the first answerer. My country's Yahoo! Answer is so boring. Most of them only talk about local stuff.

I think I'm in general.....but I'm glad there are other countries here I think it gives more diversified answers. Other countries have different cultures than us and can often times shed more light on a subject than Americans can.

I've always wanted to try to explore Y!A in other countries sites... never gotten around to it I guess. (American). I just assumed that some people explored any sites on Y!A whose language they could speak.
