I was told that some car washes have an extra protectant that is suppost to help protect against pebbles& etc. on the road but is also suppost to help repall pebbles that are thrown from tires & other debree does anyone know any thing about this , thank you

Once struck the gravel dents the metal slides across your nice waxed surface. Yhe main reason we wax is to coat the clear or color with a film to keep water spots from burning my paint when the sun comes back out. Acid rain also will bleach out paint. Most colors these days have a enough UV light protection. I doubt that water from car washed can put enough surface protection to amount to much. Nouthing beats a good paste wax shine. Pebbles Rocks and other projectiles chip off paint and dent the surfaces of cars.

I think the wax product works sort of like rainx on your windshields.
Always worked for me.Makes seeing a little better. It helps the water to bead up and roll off.

Wax protect ants at a car wash..........hmmm, I'd have thought giving them umbrellas would have been better..............
