Is it just me? i think triangles look and taste better than squares or rectangles regardless of the filling. This is a burning issue...can i have a star if you agree!!!!!!

It's all to do with presentation. Caterers always cut sandwiches triangular because effectively they do look better. This visual look brainwashes you to think that are better tasting. I agree, they do appear to taste better.

that is so true what a brill question they do taste better but as for the reason for this strange anomaly I'm flummoxed... could it be something to do with the knife cut going against the grain therefore sealing in more flavour x

Well you can have a star though I do prefer square cut sandwiches myself, it was only posh people who had fancy cut sandwiches when I was growing up.
