I have a small hole above my nipple and it seems to be getting bigger, and the other day I noticed there seems to be another one starting. It is above my nipple and I'm wondering if this is a sign of anything? I'm thinking about getting it checked out- but I don't have any insurance for myself. The hole is pretty small...although I can tell it is getting bigger, and it is almost like the edges of the skin are burnt....and it just goes into my skin...not a bump at all....just like a pit or something.....any help is appreciated.... Also, for your guys information my moms aunt passed with breast cancer in her 30's and HER daughter then passed when she was in her early 50's with breast cancer. SERIOUS ANSWERERS ONLY>>>>PLEASE

Which do you prefer, losing your breast because you didn't see a doctor, or seeing a doctor and saving your breast?

You REALLY need to see a doctor, insurance or no insurance, it could be serious!

Sometimes you will get clogged pores of the hair, which will erupt like a pimple. Normally you will see this first though, it will pop and leave a small crater, and then it will heal. I have had these and have had good luck with tea tree oil and cleaning the area with antibiotic soap about 3 - 4 times a day.

However I do this now, after I have seen a doctor about it. In my case they didn't think it was cancer. It is always best to get this checked out. You may want to try for a couple of days antibiotic treatments, just to get it to heal over. Make sure to keep it dry and clean and watch it for a week. If you notice it keeps getting bigger or doesn't reduce in size, then see a dr.

You should see a doctor but you could try putting some honey on it for a few days and cover with a small piece of bandage and see if that will help close the wound. Usually with Cancer it would be a lump, I think.
