It's not bad at all. I just answered a similiar question about asking someone to go out on a date. In today's day and age, all of the traditional rules are off the table. If you want to marry someone, ask them. Life is too short, and you never know what the future holds. If you know in your heart that you're ready to marry someone, ask them! Don't ever risk the chance of losing someone for not acting on a feeling. As a guy, I would personally welcome a girl proposing to me.

I know it's not!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband dated and lived together for 4 years. I finally decided he needed to make a decision. I ask him if he wanted to get married. He said yes, and we have been married for 22 years. Go for it! Good luck.

it's a good thing to do when the guy wants to have sex with her, otherwise she might be a bad girl or a single mother tobe.

I don't think it's bad, but I do think it's odd. I mean are you going to have to buy your own engagement ring? That to me is odd.

just do one thing.. ask your friend or his friend.. to convey your message to him...!! if he is interested inshaAllah he will reply..~~!
