i remember this pink bear with a flowered belly and floppy flowered hat.....i carried it everywhere....for years....it was named poky....and eventually faded quite a bit and his neck was being held together with safety pins. it took me a long time to have the heart to throw him out and to this day i regret doing so.

I had a stuffed bear that I left in a hotel in NJ on the way to the NY worlds fair (1964?), when my parents discovered it wasn't in the car we were already a couple hrs down the road...my mom wanted dad to turn around and go back but dad (being dad...haha) said no...I remember looking out the window being heart broken, but I got over it pretty quick...I guess I was like 5ish.

I had a white cat and I loved it so very much. I remember it like yesterday (I am 31) and I have asked my mom about it and she said she got rid of it or lost it. I had a hard time with that so all you moms out there, keep your child's first animal, lol!

I don't think I ever received a stuffed animal...maybe that is why I kept my boy's first stuffed animals I gave them...an elephant and a teddy bear when they were born...

I'm 31, it was a grey dog, I was 2 years old when I got it, his name is Inga, my parents named it like that because that's what I was saying when I first pointed at it in the store... I've still got it...

Mine was a brown teddy bear with a checkered bow tie, and a squeaky ear. I got him when I was five and named him Timothy Tiny. and yes I still have him.
