There are so many twists and turns in this case it is hard to decide whats true and whats false. It was said on Sky news this morning they are willing to take a lie detector test to prove their innocents. I do not know if these tests are infallible, but it will be interesting to see the outcome.

No I think they were extremely distressed, upset and disappointed in the Police and thought, f*ck this , lets go home where people who love us, are.
Imagine for a moment, being in there shoes and in a foreign country, where you thought you had support only to find the Police and more or less whole of portugal turned against you?.. Not a good place to be.
No mystery here, everyone changes minds and plans to suit their needs.

If you have nothing to hide you gonna contract the president of the Portuguese Bar Association to help all the other lawyers that they already have?

Saw on the news this morning that the McCanns have offered
to do a lie detector test, they should let them do it and then
get on with finding Madeleine.

Ummm - when they were in Portugal people on this site were writing in every day, saying they had something to hide by not coming home.

Perhaps they realised they were about to be framed.
Would you stay there just to help the police frame you?

Yes your right. Its not right. They had been planning to go home before they became suspects,so the police thought."we better cover our asses here and make them suspects'.

Thinking sensibly...I think they returned to England incase they were charged and had their children taken away from them.
If they were to be charged whilst in England, they know their children will be with relatives, not strangers.

I´ve no problem with people asking questions but why do we keep getting the same questions over & over again. Surely someone can ask something new.
