Practice somewhere that it doesn't hurt - i.e. on crash mats etc until such a time as you have a 99% success rate - only then try and do it on concrete, or you're just asking for trouble!

we use mats in our class, and also the yard when it's nice out. Start on soft surfaces and progress to harder and harder ones. Your breakfalls better be right on too...be safe!!!
