Only ever been in one fight in my adult life. Some guy was breaking windows on my street, I went out and got given a load of abuse. He began to get physically aggresive so I smacked him once and knocked him across the street. He then realised that I was not an easy target and tried to lure me into chasing him to where his friends were gathered. He failed.

Normally I just laugh at drunk idiots who try and start fights, then walk away. But this was outside my house and I feared for my property. Then I feared for my own safety so decided to pre-empt his attack. The police later turned up for the broken windows and said I'd done everything within the law.

Hopefully he won't be threatening random strangers in the street again.

Yes I have.

I won a couple, and lost one (tough to recover from getting tackled from behind, then bashed on the back with a nearby rock half the size of a bowling ball). Most fights were broken up before either of us "won".

I don't get myself into fights, but if someone starts one I'm in it to win. My usual calm persona goes right out the window.

Yes, on more than one occasion. I lost. I know the feeling. Yeah, it hurt good. Then, I discovered I was a glutton for punishment. I auditioned for Pro-wrestling school. You don't just walk in, and get accepted. I paid the price. Then, fight boot camp began. 3 TV tapings. At least I made it that far. I'm better now. I've learned a whole new aspect, on looking for foreign objects.

I grew up in a neighborhood where fighting was a rite of passage. I fought, got beat up a lot. Then my brother taught me a few tricks. Started winning all my fights, even against boys and bullies. My last fight was in 8th grade. Beat up a girl who'd been bullying everyone for the entire school year. She took my purse, claiming I'd taking something of hers. I snapped, went off, and tried to choke the life out of her. After that, no one was scared of her again. Some of them might've even been a little scared of me. Not that that was a good thing to do, but ya gotta admit, bullies deserve it sometimes.

More than I can remember.

I had some serious issues on my teens to late 20's and worked most of them out (on similarly minded people) in most of the sleazy dives that I wasn't barred from.

I won some and probably lost as many and have scars from both. I have woken in hospital and know I have put others in the same position.

It solved nothing. I don't recommend it as a pastime.

Not with anyone I'm actually trying to win against - I'm a dab hand at play fighting though!

I worked EMS 12+ years. Having to defend yourself is soon found to be a given..at the strangest times. It usually came from someone you are trying to help..or their families/friends who resent you being there.

It's a strange world out there folks...

Oh..and winning..that's a matter of opinion I suppose.
