Of course you can take a bath during your period. And it's kind of nasty *not* to bathe at this time. It's an old wives tale handed down by our great great grandmothers that we shouldn't bathe or wash our hair during our monthly cycle. The old ladies alleged that it made your cramps more severe and bathing was a dangerous activity during this time of the month. Thankfully, we know better than that. You can bathe any time during your period. Soaking in a hot tub can definitely ease the cramps and improve your overall mood. Of course, some women may prefer to take a shower at this time, but it's up to the individual.

By all means, yes, you may take a bath. :) Shower, bathe, whatever you want to do. If your flow is heavy, you may want to wear a tampon. I always had to do so, as I have had heavy/problematic periods. Remember, the menstrual flow doesn't stop when you are in water.

nope. just try not to use a fragranced bubble bath becauseit may irritate. the only other thing is that the water may turna little pink- it it very dilute so it wont stick to your skin.
