I'm a homeless man, who has been beat up, spit on laughed at...everything one can do to me has been done to me. I keep to myself, dont beg or bother anyone. Why are people so mean, uncaring? I'm not a drinker or drug user, i suffer from depression. There are many reasons why i'm homeless and if you read my profile, you will see some of them. Not all homeless are bad people...just down on our luck and need help, some more than others. The next time you see a homeless person, be kind, help them if you can, we are human to, just not as furtunate as some.
For those who say homeless and on a computer... i'm at the library, the only place i can find peace for a few hours every day. Please pray for me.

What can I say people are stupid, with judgments and pride they actually think they can decide how to treat people. Remember that these are people that are so miserable and weak that they think they can get away with inconsiderate acts like picking on the homeless. They have no respect for others or themselves but I believe that everything comes back to you eventually.

I wish I could help you as I do to anyone who asks or not. I know a few words might not be enough but I recently learned that we really can be what we want to be some of us have a harder road to take with difficulties that can not be understood by most if not all. It really is up to ourselves to change if we want it, it all starts with our thoughts and our words to change our beliefs and how we see ourselves. Once you respect yourself and treat yourself well others will too. Stay safe and happy I wish you all the luck to finding what makes you happy I know it can be done but anything good does take work.

The whole thing about it being a choice is a lame excuse so they don't have to feel guilty for their lack of compassion or lack of ability to give to someone in need. Those people are just disgusting. I want to apologize for the ignorance of man kind sorry I got mad just now some people just don't deserve to be called human.

I, too, was homeless for years on Venice Beach, Calif. I was sick, flu or something, I had no where to go to get under a warm blanket, no aspirin, no orange juice, just people walking by looking at me lying by the beach fully clothed, making comments like "drunk whore" etc. They have no idea why, how I was there..didn't even care. Unaware that even taking a dump becomes a major thing, no one wants to let you use the restoom, you crouch behind a trash dumpster wipe your *** on McDonalds wrappers. Yeah, I been there..R U in Los Angeles? I will pray for you, KIT if you can

My heart goes out to you. My family and I have been homeless before due to no fault of our own. Unfortunately we were able to get back on our feet after time in a homeless shelter, the food banks, and dinner lines. People who have not been there think that it is a choice that is made when in reality the majority of the time it isn't a choice. I hope you are able to get back on you feet and once again my heart goes out to you.

It is because they don't realize that one thing can change in their life, and they may end up the same way. I knew a homeless man that died with $500,000.00 in the bank. He was suffering from a mental problem, and was scared to spend his money!!!

Posting this again? How many times now? 10? 20?

Spend this much time looking for a job and you wouldn't be "homeless".
