Just for the sake of the argument I could start by stating the obvious. Crying during sex is, when the sex is not agreed by both parties, quite natural (it wouldn't surprise me).

Crying during, or after sex in any other situation -- well, I don't have any experience with that one. The only reasons I could think of would be if it appears that you are going to be pregnant for whatever reason or that you are afraid that you have violated the rules (of religion, parents, etc).

In conclusion, I might say that is only weird if you experience it as something weird. It might be logical or natural in some cases. If you cry during sex and feel comfortable about it (as well as your partner), don't worry, I suppose.

I've never been with a girl that cried either before or after sex.

But this one time me and her were together and she started to cry. I mean really cry. I stopped because I thought I was hurting her, but she told me not to stop. She really wanted me to keep going. The more we did it the more she cried.
I never asked her about it because she never brought it up.
I didn't want to talk about something that she was not ready to talk about.

Till this day I've always thought that she experienced a sexual assault before or something like that. But after reading some of these posts. I guess it were just the hormones.

So my answer is no. I don't think it's weird to cry during sex. But I still think it's kind of strange to cry (not with pleasure, but haulingly with tears) during sex.

Honestly, it's 2007! Nothing's weird!!! I guess it depends on WHY you are crying (or they are crying) and probably worth discussing with your partner so that they don't misunderstand your tears and get hurt (or if they are the ones crying, you might want to gently ask about it or if there is anything you can do). There might be a history of sexual assault, or maybe you/they are just extremely passionate.

After a really big fight and you've had make up sex, its not weird to cry. If it's really passionate, it's ok to cry. If you just cry for no reason, then yeh, its' weird

same problem was there with my friend every time they use to have sex in the car and always her bf use to force her for that and she use to tell me that she really dosent have any interest in it she told me that it really pained her while doing it so i think may be u cry coz of pain and it pains if your not in mood or ur not ready to do it only he is intersted in it
