K-Pax is one of my favs..
Here's some I would check out
Primer - VERY realistic. It's a sundance film festival winner so it won't be like a mainstream movie like K-Pax, not well known actors, but it's amazing.
Equilibrium - Some what like the Matrix, but really good.
Donnie Darko - Can't even explain it, just awesome.
I know there's like 10 more like that just can't remember them. But those ones are amazing, trust me.
