You have not indicated whether the girl also a muslim.
Assuming the girl is non muslim, your religion may not accept her in after wards you will insist her to em brass Islam. Your society then may accept.
But as per Indian Law if both have attained the age they can get married and religion is not a factor.
But alas ! I am staying muslim country and seeing the pathetic conditions of nonmuslim girls married to muslim boys out of their love and affection.

If you think you are a Muslim boy and the girl is Maharashtra girl, samaj will not accept you, and if you think you are going to marry a girl, then it is ok

what do you mean by samaj will accept us ? r you in love with the girl or the samaj ??
find out wheather the girl has any feelings for you and talk to both your parents about ur relationship instead of wondering what others think of you.

listen man forget about the samaj would u acept her as a hindu? your community is the one who has a problem with others . U people ask non muslim person to change into muslim beforeget married . u can,t accept a person as a person but only as a muslim person. sorry man but it is true.
