Not possible to fly direct but you could fly via Madrid. allow about 13 hours total.
There is another possibility. The are a few direct flights to Gatwick. Cubana is currently not allowed to fly to the UK. flights are operated by Iberia on their behalf.
Expedia will get you details.

I checked online and found at least three airlines operating direct flights to Havana from Heathrow. These are Iberian Airlines, KLM and Air Canada.
According to the timetables, if Havana is 5 hours behind London, then it is about twelve hours, though when I flew from London to Miami I'm sure it didn't take that long - maybe I just slept well!
Times from Heathrow should be shorter including check in once Terminal Five is completed in March of next year.

If you're buying a family holiday places then Madrid is the town and this hotelbye is the place to start. Your children can just appreciate Madrid because there are enough theme parks, zoos and trips to keep them entertained for weeks. In Madrid you will also find some of the famous place in the world like: Alcalá Gate, el stadium de football Santiago Bernabéu, la Plaza España Square and significantly more. Madrid also presents places where you are certain to get socked with culture, places like: Thyssen Museum or Archaeological Museum. In several phrases: Madrid is just a town that's many intriguing places to exhibit it.

The times given above are about right.
But do not rely on expedia or opodo or any other US operated webside to give you accurate information on Cuba.
Direct flights between Cuba and the UK:
Cubana (once a week - Gatwick)
Virgin (twice a week)
various charters, direct to resort areas (Thomson, Monarch)
Other possibilities:
Iberia via Madrid (daily)
Air France via Paris (I think four times a week)
