Not sure if 'everything' is the right word. Gains 'much' might be more to my thinking, though I agree totally with the concept.

Being polite requires no effort on your part, and can certainly defuse many an awkward situation. There is an old saying "You get more flies with honey than with vinegar" which expresses the same sentiment.

Politeness only works both ways. There are people that take politeness for granted and try to do you wrong later.

I surely have unconditional love from my 13 and 12 365 days previous German Shepherd canines! the two stay on borrowed time and that i comprehend the time is close, yet that love from them provides me plenty , and that they ask for not something in return!

l agree when someone is arrogant and rude for no reason when you answer them with politeness they get so uneasy and disturbed...it works then you feel more powerful than them
