You can have sex up until the time she goes into labor.
In fact sexual intercourse is a way of naturally inducing labor as the prostoglandins in semen will soften and help to dialate the cervix. Keep in mind that this is provided that she is having a normal pregnancy. If she has placenta previa (where the placenta is low lying in the uterus) sex is something to be much more careful of if at all. Also, if she has a pre-mature rupture of membranes (her water breaks early in pregnancy) then you don't want to have sex or put anything in there because of chance of infection.

Just don't be too crazy rough and you're good to go. The baby is well protected in the uterus and there is no way a penis can poke at the baby.

A lot of people say a lot of differnt things. First you have to make sure your partner is comfortable having sex. After the thrid trimester her body will be getting ready for birth and since sex can encourage it. (because sex will relaxe/stimulate the muscles and sperm can soften the cervix) But soft gentle sex is encouraged as exercise and relaxation through out the pregnancy. So long as your partner feels comfortable with it.

You can have sex right up until labour starts if she feels up to it. Not rough of course, take it easy on her! But if her water has already broken it is not a good idea as infections can be transmitted to the baby this way. Sex is a great way to start labour as semen has the same hormones as the ones used in the gel or drip to induce a womans labour artificially.

Best of luck!

Normally, you can have sex until the the end of pregnancy if your doctor says it's okay... I had sex with my husband up to about a few hours before I went into labor and my baby was healthy and the sex was very good....

If there are no complications you are safe pretty much all the way. Many people have difficulty getting comfotable toward the end, both physically and there is a psychological piece that sometimes plays a part.

Until her water breaks or is leaking, or unless the doctor tells you sex is off limits. Sex is actually a good way to naturally stimulate labor.

You can have sex throughout the whole pregnancy...just not after she goes into labor or anything. It probably wouldn't be good to have as much sex if she was at high risk for pre-term labor. I've heard that sex actually brings labor on sooner. Good Luck!
