I can't help noticing how it's all gone incredibly quiet on the McCann front over thelast couple of days, especially since the Tonight programme, and the way DNA can be explained, the offer of a lie detector test, etc etc. Funny how when the McCanns were made suspects, you could almost picture the Anti McCanns rubbing their hands with glee over their keyboards, and there was question after question about how Kate had killed Madeleine, and "I told you so" and "ooohh they're going to be charged now" etc etc. And now SILENCE! Perhaps the focus will be back on finding Madeleine alive, as I believe she is alive somewhere.

Who died and made Bob J Yahoo Answers God!! Are you supposed to be glued to YA 24/7 to make sure you don't repeat a question that someone else has asked. I'd like to know which questions he deems to be "attention Seeking" and which he doesn't. Sorry Bob, you come across as completely self-righteous.
Duck Suprise - there has to be a charge to answer to. Under Portugese law it is not illeagal to leave your children the way the McCann's did so no case to answer. You can't just start making up laws to suit. Not saying what they did was right just saying they can't be charged in Portugal or the UK.

I don't think we are ever going to know the full truth about this one. The only people who know the truth are the people involved, and I think people should get over all the "pro-McCann/Anti McCann" BS and concentrate on finding Maddie while there is the slightest chance she is out there alive! Or if the worst has unfortunately happened and I hope to God it hasn't, that they find her so at least her family know what's happened, not just her parents, her other relatives who weren't there. At the end of the day Maddie is the most important person in this whole charade of an investigation. And just to clarify, I am neither pro or anti the McCann's, I don't know them so I have no right to judge. I am for finding Maddie, and whoever has taken her will get what's coming to them, whether it's her parents or somebody else.

Your twisted if you think people sit behind a keyboard twisting their hands together. Geez maybe the supporters were sitting behind their computers twisting their hands saying oooh well we got those non supporters now. Do you even care that a little girl was left all alone in an unlocked dark apartment or do you just get thrills from trying to prove yourself right? Is this going to find Madeleine. I can say I have never met such a childish bunch of people. You are doing exactly what many supporters of the child neglecters accuse of the non supporters of doing. Grow up already. I usually try to be kind and reasonable but enough already with all these accusations against each other. Opinion is one thing, immaturity and stupid questions are another.
Scary you make as much noise that her parents did absolutely nothing wrong. Maybe you should be out trying to prove their innocense while the rest of hope and pray Madeleine will actually start being looked for.

I'm here too and still convinced they have something to do, the problem is they are back in England where Kate has powerful friends in the press so they are re-started the campaign of the 'loving parents' (loving parents who leave their children alone behind to go to some booze party, yeah) that's why I don't understand the 'pro-mccanns'. The McCanns are guilty, even if they're not the murderers, and they should never ever have any support after being such neglected parenst, maybe those who support them also leave their chldren alone while they go to the pub.

I am afraid I feel that there is no urgency now, because I feel that Madeleine is dead.
I also believe that the perpetrators of this crime will be caught, it may take some time, but caught they will be. Its the little things that always get them caught, the little slip ups that they hadn't thought of at the time, thinking the big thoughts, but its always details that get them in the end. I will await some really good detective (who probably gets paid peanuts) to crack this case. Good detectives are born not made, and they are in every country. Justice for Madeleine!

Sick of being labelled as an anti just because I disagreed with such young children being left alone, all this pro and anti thing is ridiculous so I'm staying off news and events until some real news and events questions appear. Having to trawl through McCann questions is tiresome, but can I say that I agree with hoping the focus will be back on finding Madeleine, as the importance of that seems to have disappeared.

I think you may have missed responses to similar questions posted by McFans.
Firstly (once again!) I must point out I am 50/50 - they may or may not be involved - I dont feel certain as - like every other person on this forum - I have no idea what the type and weight of evidence is that the PJ have - they are not allowed to release it- all that is printed is just speculation and rumour.
They had good reasons to investigate and monitor McCanns - it would have been poor if they had not.
What I don't understand about this site is some people are so Black and White - you other hate them or love them - and seem to enjoy posting 'I told you so' like schoolground children.
Just GROW UP and stop posting silly little 'I told you so' rants at one another and allow proper debate over the way the case is proceeding and media reports continue.
ITS WAY TOO SOON TO SAY ONE WAY OR ANOTHER

The cult of Mccann go'es on..
ffs
I believe the police are doing a good thorough job - especially since the British are helping too. If they have a case against the parents then they are still innocent till proven guilty..
But a slick PR team do'es not gravitate away from the seriousness of allegations put forth. A little girl is at the centre of it all - not Gerry and Kate.

I am most definitely STILL HERE!!!!
As are the majority of the rest of us. The departed are the sheep who follow the flock, the type that support the majority because they have no brains of their own to base their own opinions on. I have said from the start I think they are guilty, and I will continue to believe so until, and if, I am proven otherwise.
