i'm i've got been taking part in at a chess club for 3 years now, i began out while i became into 10, now i'm extremely stable on the interest, and that i play it each and all the time. appreciate many books such by using fact the artwork of assault in chess and a variety of of different others. dont care if some human beings call me a chess nerd, i admire chess

Both. One of the only reasons people enjoy chess is because they are challenged by it. Another reason is because they are bored homeschoolers with nothing to do; again because they need a challenge.

It is both, and a hobby as well, and also can be a social event. It teaches you logical thinking and strategey. One must learn to plan ahead several moves, and to try to understand an opponent's way of thinking and strategy, in order to out-manoeuver and capture their pieces or win.

it's fun, universal, don't need fancy video game hardware, helps improve thinking, social, rather easy to learn, very complex strategy, and the way games play out can be very surprising.
