A coper is a ship used clandestinely to supply alcohol to deep sea fishermen so I assume it's copper you are enquiring about.
Copper is a reddish moderately hard metallic element (Symbol Cu, atomic number 29),perhaps the first metal used by man, and used as an electrical conductor and in alloys.
When alloyed with tin it forms bronze.
