Implicit in your question is that there was a previous terrorist attack staged by the US government against the United States. I am unaware of such an attack. Please advise.

Why wouldn't the Vice President give advice to the President, like any other member of his cabinet? We expect our VP to be intelligent and helpful, as opposed to VPs like Al Gore, who was more interested in self agrandizement and advancing his own political career and legacy than he was in serving his country.

NEWFLASH !!! its already happened.....the terror attack was the declaration of unilateral surrender, its already happened and the leader was harry reid. the idea here is that surrender doesnt support troops, it emboldens the enemy.
