"We're going to hunt down Bin Laden with far too few troops, and Bin Laden will get away as a result. Then we will pull most of our people off his trail to go fight in a long, expensive insurgency in Iraq. Bin Laden will still be free near the end of my second term as president, but that's okay, because he'll be in a cave or something. Yeah, he killed 3,000 Americans, but he's in a cave. In a cave, folks! That's the best we can do."
If the nation wouldn't have accepted such a thing back then, why do we accept it now?

The reason that this nation accepts it now is the same reason that we have not abolished the two-party system, nor revamped the election process to eradicate the electoral college, nor abolished the Federal Income Tax and instituted a Federal Sales Tax in its place (or a flat 7% Federal Income Tax), nor achieved a nation-wide 100% fluency-in-English rating, nor surpassed many other nations in education, nor successfully impeached and removed the last 3 Presidents, nor imprisoned the majority of Congress-members during the last 25 years for lying, stealing, and consorting with our enemies. That's right folks, the answer is: Manipulation.
You are merely a pawn in someone else's game. But don't feel bad; almost all of us are merely pawns.
Now you know the rest of the story.

Did he really said this? War on terrorism is not that easy to eradicate for certain, since the main character in this scenario is either outside the US or hiding in some wilderness somewhere between caves in Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan.
You Americans think being Mr. Bush is just playing around, I notice most of you guys hated your President, give him a break. If you were in his place probably much worse has had happen. I know he is not that good, but who is? Nobody is perfect in this world. I donot think Bin Laden would just walk in the White House and say HERE I AM BUSH arrest me! I donot think he is that stupid. The problem is you people still donot accept it then and now yet he is still your President so by then you should have found out where you guys blunder, and keep on blaming your President on this. I am not an American nor I live there(thank God) and I am sure not a campaign manager for Mr. Bush.
Yeah I could imagine Bush giving this speech, but can you? As if the world is much safer if the Presidency is in your hands, you think so? I just hope you guys, the American public stop pin pointing fingers on your President, instead of doing so why not follow what JFK said then " ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country..." and sing the song of Michael Jackson "heal the world". Being naive I donot think so.

Sad, isn't it?
How can a whole nation KNOW that thier president lied to them and NOT want to impeach him?
I mean, Clinton got oral sex. Bush is responsible for THOUSANDS of deaths (let's not forget the Iraqi casualties).

The above is the BEST article I've ever read on Iraq. It's long, but it's packed with good information, little tidbits that I didn't know.

This has been going on for so long. The "War on Terrorism" is a joke. Bush needs to be impeached. Americans need to get the balls to do it.

I think 60+% of us don't accept it. The 30% that do have serious brain matter decay, to include the president.
