I've just got it in my wrist and had achillies tendonitis for years. It really is a nuicence and I'm not sure if it really can be fixed - I've been to the doc and had physio. However I did some research and I am now in the middle of a 4 month detox which seems to be helping. In addition I'm taking Green lipped muscle extract, fish oils and a natural anti inflammatory called Devil's Claw. My symtoms are gradually getting better so it might be worth a try. It would seem that this is an age thing so we all have to look after ourselves and the doctors don't seem to be able to help so self help is the best thing.
Good luck.

I had tendonitis in the arm, and was recommended something called Thamert Epi-med.
It is a plastic sort of clasp - usable anywhere on the arm, and is held in place by a velcro strap. Can't remember how much I paid for it, but it really does seem to work. Apparently, a lot of golfers resort to using one. Got mine off the internet.
It is supposed to take the strain of the damaged muscle, giving it time to mend.
Hope your arm feels better soon.

you will be able to desire to work out a doctor. tendons are a hollow bone and if harm or broken, it takes longer than what a nicely-known bone might. in case you have broken considered one of your tendons on your hand it could have shot lower back up in on your elbow, they are stretchy like that. yet you ought to truly see a doctor to get you answer.

Try NHS Direct 0845 4647 if not time to visit your doctor. They spend about 10 mins quizzing you so no good for emergencies, but great for questions like this
